Do you find yourself worrying about things that haven’t even happened yet? Anticipating the worst? Overthinking every little thing and letting your feelings spiral out of control? Are you a people pleaser but then find yourself overwhelmed, frustrated, irritable and always putting everyone else’s needs ahead of your own? Does everything feel harder than you think it should? Symptoms of anxiety and depression are often exacerbated by the way we think about and perceive a situation. By changing the way we think we can, in turn, change how we feel.
Together, we will work to understand your thoughts and see how they impact your feelings. Learn to “put these thoughts on trial” and reframe them. We will increase your capacity and confidence to deal with what comes your way. You will feel increasingly stable and peaceful. You will be able to be more present for joyful and happy moments.
I will guide you through this process and help you identify and explore areas of your life that cause stress and anxiety. I will teach you the skills you need to identify and challenge your thoughts.
I am also a Certified Grief Educator with decades of experience helping clients through death and dying. Working through grief can be very nuanced and we will explore all the facets together.
I conduct all my sessions virtually and my office hours are Monday-Thursday from 9am-2pm.
I encourage you to reach out by email if you'd like to set up a phone consultation.
